An Internet business can rise and fall based on more then just the quality of the product or service they provide. Marketing your product or service can make or break your Internet business because if you don't promote your business effectively then you could end up with a garage full of extra inventory. Therefore it is imperative that you create a website campaign for your Internet business to avoid financial loss and the feeling of failure.
How should you create your website? What information should you put on your website? First of all let's change the singular "website" to the plural "websites". Yes, you should have more then one website for your Internet business. Many Internet website and graphic designers will advise that you have one major website for your Internet business. This is not the way to go.
Why? There are many reasons, but one major reason is that if you have only one website then you are barraging your potential customer with too many options. Having a long list of links on your website can drive your customer away from actually purchasing your product or service. Providing information regarding your company can be helpful, but also may become a distraction for potential customers.
How many websites should you have for your Internet business? It varies depending on your product and scope of services, however in general you should have the following three main websites: a branding website, a sales letter website, and a power squeeze website page.
What is the purpose of these three main websites? What information should you place on these websites? The major goal is to minimize the number of distractions on each website which can lead to a higher sales conversion rate. Create a website environment in which one major task is assigned to each website.
Following is information regarding the purpose and content necessary for the three major types of websites.
1) Branding Website: The purpose of the branding website is to brand you and/or your Internet business. Successful businesses create a marketing brand that a customer associates with their company. The sole purpose of the branding website is to promote your brand. You do not sell your product or service at this website.
2) Sales Letter Website: The sole purpose of this website is to sell your product or service. You can provide purchasing information on this website and allow your customers to purchase directly from this website.
3) Power Squeeze Website Page: The sole purpose of this website is to capture personal customer information. When customers reach this page you should request their first name, last name, and email address at a minimum. It is vital to capture this personal information as it enables you to build a relationship with the customer and market to them over and over in the future. The Power Squeeze Website Page should come right before the Sales Letter Website.
Incorporate these three websites into your Internet business websites to capture personal information, create customer relationships, and create an environment that effectively promotes sales conversions. Skip the old way of doing business with one website and diversify your portfolio of Internet business websites for financial gain and business success.

The Basics of Creating an Internet Business Website
Many entrepreneurs spend countless hours building and tweaking their product or service. This inventive process is the heart and soul of many Internet businesses. An entrepreneur may be tempted to feel that their work is done when they place their product or service on the market. Unfortunately, this is no time to sit back and watch the sales roll in because they won't, unless you create an effective Internet marketing plan.
Internet marketing begins with a website or host of websites for your Internet business. Many business owners are experts in their field and/or have created a unique, innovative product, but they may not know how to create a website. Tread carefully as you create your Internet website so that you don't spend time or money on ineffective website hosting, design, and marketing methods.
Following are four basic tasks you need to accomplish to create an Internet website for your business. This article provides direct recommendations of specific businesses as these businesses have a proven track record.
Basic Task #1: Purchase a domain name.
What is a domain name? A domain name is the name of your location on the Internet. A great resource for domain names is www.godaddy.com . (The domain name of this website is "godaddy.com".) At www.godaddy.com you can find out if the domain name you desire is already in use. If it is not then you can purchase it for around $10.
Basic Task #2: Find a hosting account.
A hosting account will bring your website "onto" the Internet. It is imperative that you find a hosting account that provides the services you need. A great resource for hosting accounts is Frontier Power Hosting at .
What options should you look for in a hosting account? Make sure that your hosting account gives you your OWN IP address, extensive space on their server, and allows you to add more domains for free. You want your own IP address because this will improve your website rank in the search engine rankings. Shoot for 500MB of space so you will have plenty of room on the server.
Don't be tempted to opt for a cheap hosting account as you will encounter several problems. One problem is that cheap hosting services tend to not have adequate customer support. Another issue deals with Internet spam. Let's say that you are with Hosting Company XYZ which is also used by an individual that is sending spam. Email companies such as Yahoo, Earthlink, etc. may find out that this individual is spamming and cut off any services from Hosting Company XYZ. This cut off stops your emails as well even though you didn't do anything wrong.
Basic Task #3: Set up an Autoresponder.
What is an Autoresponder? There are two kinds of Autoresponders. One type is the "Out of Office" message you can set up in your Outlook account. This will automatically send an email message to anyone that emails you when you have this function turned on.
The other type of Autoresponder message is called the "smart" Autoresponder. A smart Autoresponder account should be installed on your hosting account. Check out for more information. This type of Autoresponder allows you to capture personal information such as first name, last name, email, IP address, and a time stamp of when the customer sent the email. Plus, this service can create tags that tell you "who" clicked on the different links in your email message.
Basic Task #4: Create a "Power Squeeze" page.
The power squeeze page is the page that customers will land on when they click on links in your email message. The purpose of this page is to capture personal customer information so you can build a rapport with customers.
Completing these four tasks is essential. Take your time, make an investment, and utilize the referrals of the businesses mentioned in this article.

The Importance of Being Abnormal
Would you describe yourself as abnormal? This may seem like a silly question and most people would respond "no". Many people have been conditioned to want to fit in with the crowd. This mentality deems the masses as "normal" and the unique minority as "abnormal" or different. This difference is often viewed as negative, but when it comes to being an entrepreneur, the difference is positive. Learn why this is the case as Matt Bacak grills John Di Lemme.
Abnormal is not always a bad thing. You don't want your health tests to be abnormal when you visit the Doctor, but you do want your entrepreneurial plans to be "abnormal". Why? In this case being abnormal means that you are taking a risk to be a step above the rest. You are squashing fear and hanging your neck out. This courage is at the heart of every successful entrepreneur. They won't take being "one of the crowd" sitting down, they fight their way to be abnormal and triumph.
Understanding the importance of being abnormal is one thing, but how do you actually become abnormal or stand out from the crowd? First find your passion in life. Maybe your passion is Internet marketing or real estate. Next invest in personal development. Learn as much as you can about your passion. Go to seminars, read eBooks, and find mentors that support your passion.
Work every day to promote your passion, business, or product. Let's say that you are in Network Marketing. It is critical that you accomplish the following three tasks every day. You need to immerse yourself in personal marketing, prospecting, and recruiting. Checking these tasks off your list each day is not a luxury, but a necessity if you want to thrive.
Still not convinced that being abnormal is good? Or perhaps you feel you don't deserve to be abnormal or can't achieve success in your own business because of your background. Think again. If you are born then you deserve to achieve success. Any excuse you have can be overcome with dedication, hard work, and persistence. Don't sabotage yourself by not ever trying. There are countless success stories of individuals who prevailed against all odds and obstacles.
Follow your passion and be abnormal. You will have a more satisfying life and be one step closer to financial freedom.
